We were inspired by the United Nations report of 1987 on ‘Our Common Future’. More reason why our vision and mission is in support of the United Nations sustainable development agenda with regards to “Our Common Future” of 1987. Which defines sustainable development as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” (Report of the World Commission on Environment and Development, 1987).

The ability to use waste as a resource in the production of electricity, gas, fuel and most importantly in recyclable materials,  saving it from ending in landfill is an inspiration boldstep Resources will like to promote and enlighten the public on. Here at Boldstep Resources, we understand that what might be an inspiration to us considering Ola’s background might not be seen as an inspiration to many from developed countries. According to the United Nation Goal 7 of the sustainable development goals “840 million people around the world are still without access to electricity”. Source: Report of the United Nation Secretary-General 2019, Special edition: progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals . This figure is like twice  the size of America not having access to electricity, which should not be the case in the 21st century.
